A very happy new year one and all. Christmas in all it’s festive glory is packed away for another year and the geese are breathing a sigh of relief. It’s time to turn attention back to musical matters once more and so this week we’ve been busy finalising the artwork for the new standard jewel case edition of Standing Room Only. Sadly, the limited edition versions are all but gone, but on the bright side, the standard edition will be available for all and sundry who would like her – so no chance of running out. Request them, and they will come…that’s the theory anyway.
That Coke ad on the telly has signaled the official start of Christmas at Kanuteville, which means things will be winding down for a little while, as we shift focus to how fat our Geese have got and where the hell Rachael put the Christmas stockings. Again. I mean, it’s every damn year…
A very happy birthday to Mr. Overseer, have a wonderful day Rob, hope it’s full of candles, cake, balloons, cake, presents and maybe a dash more cake. And a pint.
There’s more to love on the kanute website, as we’ve now added a ‘win stuff, hurrah!’ dedicated competitions page, Rob has added his biog to the ‘where did I come from?’ section, there’s a smattering of new images all over the site, there’s a new ’seldom asked questions’ sections were people asked us things and we told them words right back in their faces… not to mention some new editions to the ‘we heart you’ page… all in all it’s a new stuff bonanza. And it’s only Tuesday.
Finally, through the magic of just getting someone who knows what they’re doing to do it for us, Kanute things are now available to buy on the internet, without having to resort to writing cheques and posting them and what not. Thank God for that.
We’ve added all available Kanute merch to the shop so for the first time ever, there is one place to get it. If you think we’re missing a trick, drop us a line and suggest away. If we agree, we’ll add your idea to the shop and give you the first off the line for free as a thank you. We heart good ideas.

I’ve been busily beavering away at revised artwork for a promo copy of Standing Room Only, so that I can keep the limited edition copies for those who already like us and want to exchange magic beans for it’s digipak charms. I does make my head want to explode though, but don’t worry, I’m sure those things only happen in films. And that one episode of Fringe…
Remember remember the 5th of November….because that’s the day of my first Kanute blog. And also my friend Matt’s birthday. Two good reasons I say.
